It was also fantastic to see MHS Morning Master who was produced successfully in Ireland by Gowran Hunt Horses winning the Cuddy In-Hand of the Year exceeding 148cm with new connections Jill Day and Robert Walker.

Trevor Breen and Bombay

Trevor Breen was also in the number one spot in the jumping ring. He started the week on the best note possible taking the Talent Seekers on catch ride Diamants Aurora. Not done there, Trevor and Diamants Aurora were also too quick for the field to take the Grade C Championship. Trevor was also competing Golden Hawk, normally seen with brother, Shane Breen at HOYS. The partnership gelled immediately and were extremely impressive to finish 3rd in the Leading Showjumper of the Year.

Amongst other impressive results were:

  • Joe Clayton and Crak De Beaurepaire Z – 8th in the Thistledown Stakes
  • Holly Smith and Manolito P – 8th in the RED MILLS Senior Newcomers
  • Joe Clayton and Dewpoint Diamond – 6th in the RED MILLS Senior Newcomers
