Connolly’s RED MILLS and Track Supporters Club Open Unraced 525 Final

Another exciting and enjoyable night at Clonmel Greyhound Track on the 7th of February as the final of the Connolly’s RED MILLS and Track Supporters Club Open Unraced 525 took place.

Winning Connections of Ballydoyle HoneyAfter the disappointment of the previous weekend when racing had to be postponed due to a frozen track, there were no such worries on Saturday night and as is always the case at Clonmel Greyhound Track a great crowd showed up.

In the final of the Connolly’s RED MILLS and Track Supporters Club Open Unraced 525 final it was the popular Ballydoyle Honey who flew home for trainer Graham Holland, three lengths ahead of kennel companion Riverside Gold in a time of 28.50.

Brian Holder a member of the winning syndicate after the race mentioned the Puppy Oaks in May as a possible target for her.

Gareth Connolly Sales and Marketing Director with Connolly's RED MILLS took the opportunity after the race to thank Clonmel Greyhound Stadium and the Track Supporters Club for helping to make the Unraced 525 such a success. He went on to congratulate Graham Holland and the winning connections of Ballydoyle Honey, a young bitch with a big future, and wished them, along with all the finalists the best of luck throughout the year.

Another notable winner on the night was Pat Dalton’s Volcano who broke her own track record over 790 yards. 

Over the coming weeks Connollys RED MILLS have loads more exciting greyhound action with the Champion Bitch at Thurles, Unraced at Newbridge and Champion Unraced at Kilkenny all to look forward to.
